Kathryn - Driving into the valley that is home to the city of Sedona was a jaw dropping experience. Red rock mountains painted the landscape with massive pillars of stone reaching skyward. Strikingly green was the vegetation, almost lush in appearance although the abundance of succulents would suggest otherwise. The Sedona area is home to a few major energy vortexes. Although vortexes can be found all over the world, a high concentration of them exist in Sedona. We hiked to one of these vortexes and one could definitely feel a swirling energy - real or imagined. The interesting thing is that the trees growing at the centre of the vortex are most certainly twisted.
I am enchanted by the magnificent landscape of Sedona, we will be back one day.
